Topics should be timely, controversial and currently unavailable in the literature. Unsolicited manuscripts are welcome, provided that they are for the exclusive use of Menoufia Nursing Journal and have not been previously published or accepted for publication. Manuscript form: manuscripts should be typewritten, double-spaced on one side of 8-1/2x11 inch white paper, maximum length 20 pages (5000 words). Manuscript should be structured into the following sections: introduction, methods, results together with the accompanying tables and figures, discussion, conclusion and recommendations. A cover page should include the manuscript title (10-12 words), author's' names and primarily affiliations and the address, telephone numbers. This page should be followed by a substantive abstract of no more than 250 words. Manuscript title should be repeated on the first page of the text. 

Figures and tables: it must include detailed legends. If the table or figure is taken from another source include a full reference citation at the bottom of the page. The abstract must include headings: background and aim, methods, results, conclusion and recommendations. The abstract should not include abbreviations or references. Written permission for both print and electronic use must be obtained from the original publisher prior to the manuscript' submission. Photographs can be color or black and white with a high resolution ( at least 300 dpi).

References: references, photographs, figures, tables and all other details of style must conform to the publication manual of the American Psychological association (APA). All references in text should be cited by author and date for example (Doe& Brown, 2020). List all references in alphabetical order. Only use references that are actually cited within the text. Authors are encouraged to provide the digital object identifier (DOI) number directly after all references when possible.

Citing multiple authors: in text citations with six or more authors should include the first author followed by et al., even in the first citation. Seven authors or less : in the reference section, list all seven authors: Doe, J, Brown, M., Willis M.& Williams J(2020). Pediatric nursing care. New York: Academic press.( book). Eight or more authors : in reference section, list first six then an ellipsis, then the last author:

Doe, J, Brown, M., Smith,  J., Jones M., Thomas, J,  Willis M…...& Williams J.(2020). Pediatric nursing care. New York: Academic press.

The manuscript must NOT contain reference software codes.
